That'll do nicely but you should take some cutters and remove a few branches here & there to give pockets for fish to hide in. Usually Christmas trees are pretty thick, too much so for the fish to "get into". Just MHO.

Go over to 155 and the SW Loop Christmas day and load up all you want. Last year I saw them piled up back behind where the tent was at.

I saw them there too. Yes, behind the tent they sell them out of. I heard you can also get all you want at Home Depot & Lowes on the 26th.

I usually try to decide when I do most of my fishing. March, April, & May, I put them in 7' - 13' feet of water. Then for June - December we put them in 13' - 20' feet of water. So if you get fish all year round, we put them in ALL depths. Most go in the 13' - 20'. If just putting out 5-6 (Locations) Brush Piles. I would put them all in what ever depth you figure to fish most.

this my opinion; and experience the spot should be 10x 10 ft to be effective, 1 lonsome tree not much good. Place on edge of drop off, on deepside, Out in open area a 12x12 on a hump where water is 12-18 ft is go. Irregular surfaces along creeks and in bends or curves on outside of curve also. Anchor them GOOD. thats all I have to offer.
Smile while you still have teeth.
