How long should a reel like a Bass Pro Extreme last if you fish it around 100 days a year?

Depends on how much routine maintenance you do.

I'm gonna say it really depends on how well you clean and care for it. If you take care of I'd like to think it should last for 10 years or more. At that point it's probably just mentally wanting something new. I like to get a new reel every year no matter what

Should last a lifetime when maintained

Bearing, paws, and gears will wear out overtime

You have to look at availability and how well you do your up keep

I have two that I have had for about 6 years. I cleaned them annually and started having trouble with both of them on the same trip. I sent them to southwestern parts and they repaired one and sent the other back.in bag labeled spare parts.

Last 2 bass pro reels I had I used for 2 years, then retired them for cosmetic reasons. They had a mettle anodized finish that peeled off, then started to corode badly. Still work, but nasty looking rolleyes.
