Just another day in paradise. Dead calm to 5mph wind, 58° water and a total blue bird sky. The only thing that could make it better would be loons, gulls and terns fighting for shad being pushed up by hybrids, wait we had that too. thumb

Caught a bunch of legal hybrids in water from 18' to 39' deep using 4" sassy shad from www.moestackleshop.com used silver glitter, glow in the dark and banana, it didn't seem to matter, the retrieve did however, you needed to pause for a bit and maintain contact with the lure, they would hit it on the pause.

It ain't easy making it look easy.

Good to hear. Put in a new depth finder today and got out about 30 mimutes to check it out - all OK. Tomorrow will literally be a brighter day!

My crew of Paul, wild bill, and myself caught a boat load magnums sandies Friday aftewnoon at polar point. We then looked for hybrids . I can proudly say, I was the only one who caught one. It was a big, fat bellied 22 incher. I'm on a roll. One every Friday.

Oh. Went this afternoon and wind was miserable. Only stayed out 45 minutes and the results..........zero hybrids.

Merry Christmas to one and all.

Looks like the wind is laying down. Maybe I should crank up the Skeeter and head out. Naw! Fire is too nice.

You made a good choice to go in early Karry. Paul and I stayed out found plenty of sand bass, but no hybirds. Hope to see you out there tomorrow.
