looking at getting a new ff. Looking at the lawrance elite4 dsi combo unit. my question is to anyone who has one. is that unit downscan only or does it have sonar also. This is my first ff and not sure if they are all able to do both or just certain units

It should be both. I have an Elite 5x DSI and it is just DSI only. The "X" denotes just one type of scan.

Elite-5-DSI-Sonar-with-GPS at cabelas for 299 plus get 20 back for spending over 150
