Has anyone fished Fairfield lately? I just wanted to know if the lake had a come back after the big fish kill from a few years back.

I read something on it about a month ago. The word is not good. I would pass.

i heard differently. a friend of mine and his buddy went out there last week and killed em. he said they caught 50+ bass all better than 3lbs.

I was going to go on Monday, but the same friend went back to the lake a couple days later and was closed for duck hunting until today at 1.

I haven't fished Fairfield in a few years. Not heard any reports, I hope it is coming back,

I bet it is low this year, it tends to stay low in the winter and especially the drought.

Fun lake to fish, I just hate that something got into the lake and killed all those Bass and RedFish. From what I heard it was a massive fish kill of big and little fish.

Nothing got in the lake. There are yearly fish kills at the lake. The lake goes stagnant from what I understand.
