My aplogies Mateo, you asked a question and we jacked your thread, I found that carp will still feed in colder months but not as readily, them become lethargic and tend to move less, basically sticking to one area and feeding slowly, Buffalo on the other hand seem to liven up and feed more heavily, not sure why but if your swim does not have buffalo you might consider finding one that does.

I would stick to smaller baits like 1 or 2 pieces of maize with method, I don't bait heavily during these times but maybe bait up some a couple of days in advance will help your results.

Mateo, ditto what Stephen said. Work the Trinity if you can, plenty of buffs in there. I like to use sweet flavors for the buffs, strawberry, pineapple, etc.
