I deepened and enlarged a pond on my property. Problem is vegetation is taking its sweet time covering up the banks, and erosion is taking place. Thus, i'm planning on either sodding, hydromulching, or seeding this spring with bermuda. When i go forward with any of these options, i will need temporary irrigation until the bermuda gets established.

I have access to 110v at the pond. Looking for help from tff irrigation specialists for what kind of pump and misc parts are needed to pull water from the pond to water the bermuda.

Would be nice if pump setup could be reused down the road for possible yard sprinklers too.

Might toss out some winter rye seed to help out. Its bound to warm up again prior to the annual Stock Show ice storm.

Go here and look around. http://www.sprinklerwarehouse.com/Centrifugal-Pumps-s/8738.htm They have most of what everyone else does, when you find what you want call a pump supply house there in WF and you can buy it cheaper

I see pool pumps on craigslist all the time for next to nothing...can one of these be used or would it clog up all the time?

It would need to be an open impeller so it would not clog. 2cents

Get a good dirty water sump pump from Northern tool. Place it the pond inside a 5 gallon bucket drilled full of holes and attach it to a spinkler set up. (No clogs)

I do this to the back 1/2 of the yard with the creek out back.

Electricity is cheaper than water nowadays.
