Would love to keep it local and go with a factory-direct/semi-custom build.
Would prefer North Texas/Dallas, but I am unsure who is up here. Anywhere in TX would work.
23-28ft range. Will be used in freshwater, but it can be a saltwater boat. Only problem is I need higher gunwales and freeboard opposed to a flats boat.
Open to all sorts of options.
Any ideas??

If it is aluminum, try WC Custom boats in Tyler. They can make you anything you want.

There seems to be several of them down on the coast. I might try this tactic. McClain makes custom aluminum trailers for most of them. I think I might call McClain, tell them the type boat you are looking to have built, and see if they could point you in the right direction. Just a thought. http://www.mcclaintrailers.com/

Wow, looks like the recession put most of the Texas boat builders out of business. http://www.boatbuilders.us/texas.htm

Good Link. Thanks for the info. It's a shame as 75% or so of the sites no longer exist. I will continue my hunt..............

Not sure they build exactly what your looking for but you might try Dargel Boats in Donna Texas. Family owned and been in business a long time building great boats. www.dargel.com
