we dont use trebles. while fishing with neil this weekend he got a buff that had a 2/0 treble in its mouth, one of the hooks had torn out, the other 2 was still in, after cutting the hooks we was able to remove them and the line it was attached to.

no, that was part of my rig,,,,,it was a tangled mess,,,,but the TREBBLE was in the Buffs mouth,,,,one of those strange captures,,,pretty sure we saved a Buff...

Its not always stupidity...they might not know why why trebles are a bad thing for buff/carp ..thats why its up to us to spread fish saftey education

Sounds like a catfish hook, with liver maybe. I dont think anyone in there right mind uses that hook for carp or buffalo.

there's plenty of people that use those hooks for carp n buffalo i see it all the time out here on Gvine lake.

I used to use trebles for Carp & Buffs. I even had a rig with two trebles. Lol

I quit because they were really tearing up the Carps' tender mouths.
