Is there anyplace to launch without getting stuck with the lake so low ?

Next time you think your perfect step out of your boat and try walking to shore.

I was told second hand information that the ramp at the dam is getting bad. A friend of a friend said that a gentleman with an 18ft boat was launching and it appeared to drop his axle off the end of the ramp.
Like I said, second hand info. If there is anyone that has first hand info. I myself would like to know. I would like to go there, but want to make sure I can launch.

Taking 5 to the weigh-in occurs when opportunity meets successful execution of one's preparation.

I launched there about a week ago with a Skeeter 250zx, no problems. I was told to stay on the dam side of the ramp.

The ramp at the dam is still OK. I have seen a couple of boats fall off the side but not the back. You don't have to back in very far as it is pretty steep.

Retirement best job ever.

Good to here. I'm praying for rain or we will lose one of the best lakes west of Ft.Worth.

I think Johnny at Sandy Creek marina will get something done because he needs the lake to test boats out. At least I hope he will.
