Thanks to everyone involved for putting on a great tournament. Caught some decent fish, but couldn't land any real big ones. Thought we had smallest fish locked up until I saw 3 teams had .55 lbers. It was a great time, already looking forward to 2013. Congrats Team Express.

I think his boat must be lazy, I heard him beating it trying to get it to go the first time he went out Saturday morning, I guess he finally got it to go again, and it must have been skeered because it left in a hurry when he got through beating it!

Good to See everyone,

What day is the one next month Michael?

You should of fed it some of those sour gummy worms. Maybe it would have fattened it up a little bit.

Congrats to all. You guys are good. Just out of curiosity, are these fish put back in the lake? What are the rules on that? Love Tawakoni!

Yes all fish are returned to the lake alive!! All the rod and reel tournys in Texas that I know of are live weighed and released.

I went and looked up the rules. As a big believer in catch and release on the bigger fish, may I suggest that you include in the rule sheet that all fish are released. That would just be another way to help educate others on the benefits of protecting these older breeder fish. Besides, how can a 25 pounder ever get to be a 50 pounder if they are taken out? General rule of thumb, any blue over 10 pounds gets to grow up.
