Fished Fork Sunday and struggled most of the day. I hit all the spots that payed off last Saturday with only a few whites and a couple of small bass. Marked a bunch of fish but they were not cooperating in 19-20ft. Decide to try out a little deeper in another area at the end of a long point and marked some big fish around bait in 25-30 ft. Throwing a spoon I hung a monster easily over 10 that tossed the spoon at the boat. No matter how far I put the rod in the water I could not keep her down. Kept marking big fish and huge schools of bait/bar fish. Stayed in the area with a few more bites/bar fish and was about to give it up when I stick a 10.4 and the last fish of the day. The first one that came unbuttoned was bigger so who knows how big. Thanks to guys who took the pics. Just need to figure out how to post. Tough day but a nice way to end it. Water temps were 58-59. I did not fish shallower than 17 ft. I have committed to learn to fish deep and it was killing not to hit my favorite creek with the jigs in that light wind.

Nice fish man. Wish I had the discipline to make myself stay out deep. I always revert back to my comfort zone back near the bank.

I was out there too.. and I struggled as well, but once the sun came up, I started to catch some fish..
mostly in skinny water though..
No pigs.. just dinks..
