First of all, I want to give a HUGE thanks to all the TFF'ers who showed up and fished this year to make this even so much fun and something to look forward to each year.

What can I say. Tawakoni did it's thing again this year. Tom stuck a 50+ in the first hour of the tournament but the lake just wouldent give up another good fish for him...same thing for Larry. Several teams got into eaters, and several teams had a hard time finding 5 fish. It was one of those days.

One team didn't have a problem finding large fish. As a matter of fact, this team hasn't had a problem finding large fish the last 3 times they've fished a catfish tournament...winning all three of them Team Express took 1st place w/ a total weight of:

167.45lbs and big fish of 56.55lbs

Big Wet and Slimy took 2nd place w/ a total weight of 69.00lbs

3rd went to Team Brown Boat w/ a weight of 64.8lbs

Each year we learn more and more about these large blue catfish by attending these types of functions. Come out next year and fish w/ us for the 3rd Annual Big Cat Roundup on:

December 14th, 2013 at Holiday Marina.

Had fun it was a nice day on the water minus the lost cast net and starter bolts being so loose my starter was about to fall off atleast we were their early enough to get it worked out.Look forward to next year !

Thanx to Michael and Teri, we had a great time. Ya'll do an awesome job. We're still looking for that kicker that would put us in the money. ( I think Larry got him). By the way Larry, you are the man when it comes to anchoring, thanks for the tips. If anyone is up in the air about fishing this event next year, go ahead and put it on your calendar now. It is a must do if you fish for Cats!

It's a great tournament, and you shouldn't have missed it, the fish might know what they are doing but I sure don't, I couldn't get any to bite so about an hour before the tournament was over I had to resort to aimlessly drifting and got lucky and caught a 46, what a suprize, I really don't like drifting, but it does work, sometimes when you really need it to.

I'm sorry Tom, If I had of caught my big fish in the morning like you did, instead of the last 30 minutes, my fish would have lost too much weight, that's why I waited all day to catch it, lol,

Really Tom, that was a big fish you had, too bad you had to keep it all day, I know they loose weight but I don't know how much, but you kept it alive for about 6 hrs and that is something a lot of folks can't do, good job on that Amigo,
