I will do the weekend of 29/30, whatever we decide to do we need to hit some creeks and make sure we have plenty of shad.

Still waiting to hear what the final choice on lakes is but as stated I should be able to make it on the 29th and am looking forward to meeting more of you guys.
Quick question though. Pending final date/time/location for this - would anyone happen to have a spare yak (or know where I could find/rent one) for a 250-300# person? My dad has the 29th off and is on the south side of DFW - I can hook him up with all the other gear (appropriately dressed, life jacket, angling gear... so on) but was thinking it might be fun to get him to try yak fishing at least once.
Rather than clutter this thread just PM me any thoughts/ideas you can offer.
He has been in a yak before but was years ago (15+ i think) and never fishing.

Zombie, So the Date is the 29th? seems like a "group" can show for this date. Hopefully by then we'll have had some consistant COLD Weather!

Has he ever caught anything from his kayak worth taking a picture of? He has posted pics of catches from guided trips & from the bank, but NOTHING from his kayak
