There is actually a lot of fish under the old bridge, and a few on the new one. Most fish are small, and most are not interested. Guys that do the best are using minnows. It's still better than sitting on the couch. If you keep any, be sure to measure or you could end up with a short one.

Not sure if my sources are completely accurate, but I was told that they will be demolishing the old bridge to make way for another 2 lanes of new bridge. Can anyone confirm this?

I am sure they will knock the bridge down, but I don't know if they will remove the rubble, or just let it lay where it falls.

+1

Never fails when I stop to fish that bridge...

Let the jig fall to the crossmember 1 turn of the reel and WHAM!

the old bridge is set to be torn down to accommodate for the new one. I cant imagine they would only do a new bridge for one direction of traffic

After they complete that side they will tear the old bridge down and build a new one on that side as well.
