Academy has their Allstar Classic Speciality Rods on scan price for $9.88. No tags but they are on clearance. Lufkin's all gone! Somebody bought 40 on Monday!!! Check your locations.

Tyler didnt have any though they did have the grey bait specific for 39.99.......reg. 69.99
Had lots of those ....any good?

Not sure about the Grey Ones. The old brown/red/grey Classic ones are good. Been using them for ages! Our store had them marked down to 29.99 and then the sale went off but I didn't know they completely dropped the price to 9.88. At that price you can't pass them up. I got lucky and the only ones left were 3 - 6'6" Spinnerbait rods. Can always use them for the kids or gifts. ANOTHER special is the Cammo H20 Reel and 7' MH 1/2 cammo Rod COMBO for $49.99. The price for each separately is- $69.99- Reel, $59.99 - Rod. That's a savings of $79.99. The reel is the Mettle with the lifetime over the counter warranty and the rod is a very good 7' rod. Another deal hard to pass up!

I was at the Midland location today...no All Stars, but there were two Falcon Original's marked down to $30. I started to get them, but I didn't. Someone should go pick them up, that's one heck of a deal!

Longview is sold out of the old all star classics (brown/red/grey). They were cleaned out pretty quick. I got one out of sheer dumb luck.

I must have been checking out the new ones in Grapevine because they were all marked $49. I checked the price on the do-it-yourself scanner and took it to the checkout in the front and it was $49 both times. They did have the All Star Team rods marked about half off.
