I dont know enough to come to any kind of a conclusion... heading out in the morning to a creek I haven't heard mentioned yet. I know we have more knowledgable minds in here.

Thanks,
Scooter

I had many successful fishing experiences in the rain either from the bank or boat. In fact I get my limit during a rain especially at the bank or creek. Good luck. Let us know how you do.

Too much flow will turn them off, but don't think we'll see that much rain.

If u get there, and water is filmy or murky, go with dark colors. You can still catch them. But, in this part of the world, the cleare the creeks, the better the bite. But you can catch them! The biggest thing is the banks. They are ice quality slippery when wet around here. Treacherous.

One thing about today's rain, it was NOT a cold rain. I stood in it catching one sandie after another on a creek bank, along with a few really good crappie, without rain gear, and let me tell ya, it was like a spring rain. almost warm! Very Strange for Mid December, to say the least.
