Stopped by at Lunch today. At least one person had a limit. Else, it was slow. The Cormorant are starting to stir them up and has them spooked.

Sent a PM your way. Hope it helps this weekend.

Trying my luck early with another tffer. Ill be the one with a large brown dog. We'll see how it goes... Now back to bed after reading this entire thread. Thanks for the tips!

Look up " Aquaponics! The self sustained revolution." on Face Book and like the page to learn how to use fish to grow anything at 4 times the rate with 90% less water than normal agriculture while eliminating all chemicals and producing fertilizer for in ground plants.

Brother and I got out earlier today and got one in a few hours. Two people we saw catch one and another one got two.

They were just put in yesterday so figuring they just aren't settled yet (is that a thing?). Jumping all over the place though.

I went to Trinity Park this morning for my first ever trout fishing experience. The first two got off at the bank. The bite dropped off. I finally moved to the opposite end and was a catching fool. I limited and then help some other nice guys limit. A silver Kastmaster was the killer today.

These goldies were picky biters

The biggest I caught 15.25"

caught and released 10 or so in 3 hours at trinity park. all in 13 to 16 inch range. 501 super duper is all i could get a bite on. also caught an albino trout

I don't always catch fish, but when I do, I prefer Dos Hybrids

Hit Trinity Park this a.m. with my brother in law. We caught between 30 or 40 total and kept these 10. Caught them from the time they released them until we left about 2 hours later.

Bro in law with a beautiful Golden Trout

Maybe, but I doubt it. If they are surfacing then they should be biting. When you spot a swirl cast your lure to that spot. You should use the smallest Super Duper or Black Panther Martin with a gold blade you can find.

i sometimes stand there until i see them siping at the top.... making little swirls.

they school.... and will go out of casting range and then come back. almost a waste of time casting to empty water when they are doing that....

Set the hook..... It's free.

Thanks. From seeing newer posts there are others catching good amounts on the day of release and also lure casting, so while we're not big on that we may end up giving it a shot. We have some lures similar to the ones you suggested so might try with those first.

Hopefully the weather works out tomorrow and we can get to where we wanted to be at. If that doesn't work I'll definitely have to look into those lures.

LLELA was definately not "on" today.
fished for 3 hrs, till the rain. got 4 bites.
no love. saw 1 very large (20"+) trout swimming.....
hooked a buff around 8-10#, on 4# Ultra-lite. came undone,
got a scale trophy, but again, no love.
saw 3 guys out of 20-25 anglers that actually had fish
some guy was killin the crappies @ the spillway on minnows.

Went to LLELA this morning. Water level was way low. Saw 5 guys there fishing. Stayed only for 10 minutes and left.
