At one certain spot, they must've been having their own little "Bass Super Bowl", because the first two I caught were this BLIMP and the Perfect FOOTBALL... smile Several others followed suit and made this stop memorable for sure! It's amazing how fast the fish can change from long and lean, to all CHUBBED up in just a few weeks after the first cold snap! Caught'em dragging 1oz jigs with Rage Lobster trailers.

When the Fall weather in Tx turns cold and Windy... It's time to gear up and put the pads on because the Bruisers won't necessarily play fair with you smirk The BITE and the FIGHT are serious because they're feeding up and adding as much weight as possible for Winter. So IMO, if you want a Big Ole Pig... this is a GREAT time to Get'r'dun

Judging by their color, I'm guessing Falcon. Because...

That's where all the big fish are suspended under the bait over the old river channel...

All the trophy bass have been eaten by the prehistoric leviathans searching the murky waters for their next victim(s) (alligator gar)

or due to each and every Poor ol' LMB weighing at least 20 lbs. caught in every single unsuspecting tilapia fisherman's net.

All that's left are fish in the 7-10lb. range, like the one's pictured above.

Coincidence is His way of remaining anonymous.

We all stumble and make mistakes. When you stumble, do you want your brother to help knock you down or to help set you back on your feet?

They're Falcon Fish... and that was the only spot where there was a number of bites. All of the other areas I fished, the bite was pretty slow and sizes were smaller.
