I'm looking to take the yak out in the next couple of days and wondering if there are any log jams on the Elm fork of the Trinity upstream from 380 or all the way up to 428.I might try Buck Creek instead but I've never fished there in my kayak and I'm wondering if people put in at 377 or somewhere else. Thanks.

Well, you lose one, you rig one.

I put my bass buster in at Buck Creek 377 often in the last month. Been finding the crappie at the bridge. I have also found some on the timbers.
Cant say anything about the 380 up not been there in the last 6 months if you go I would love a report as to how much water you found it looks low now.
