Never use anything with ammonia in it for plastics
It will cause the plastic to crack and fog up overtime

plus 1 Keep a bottle in your truck and wipe it down immediately after you get it out of the water. Won't have any problems with spots at all.

Actually, the best screen cleaner I've used is...drumroll, please...KVD Line and Lure Conditioner. Use this and DRINK the Bacardi. I prefer it mixed with Coke Zero and a hint of lime. Or neat.

Bass Boat Saver. Better shine and no vinegar stank!

I actually just bought a large 8oz spray bottle of the Shield brand lens cleaner at the Wal Mart optical kiosk. it was $2.97 and I used it earlier. worked great, streak free and just as good as the $12-15 cleaners I have in much smaller bottles. used it on my sunglasses too. I will be using it from now on.

That's not a bad idea Mark.
I've been using this. Its only 2.7oz but that will last a long time and comes with the micro fiber towel.

The same lens cleaner I get at Eyemasters (or whatever their new name is) for my glasses. Works great w/ a microfiber cloth.
