Ive tried for several hours after cleaning to get this puppy back together but spool wont spin.Any ideas or anyone know a reelservice cloe to rockwall garland????

If this is one of the older 6000's first check to make sure your tension knob on the left side plate is loosened. If this is one of the older ones it will have one on the left and right side plate. The one on the handle side should be tightened all the way down and the one opposite of the handle side is where you make your adjustments.

If it's one of the newer ones it only has one tension knob on the handle side. Take the tension knob off. There will also be a black saucer shaped spool clip... remove that too. If you have free spool now ....cool... we know what the problem is. Snap the spool clip back on the shaft and screw on the tension knob.

If this doesn't fix the problem we'll move on to the next step.

Tell ya what. I'll be around the shop until about 9pm tonight painting reels. If you have the reel if front of you and the tension knob thing doesn't fix it give me a call and I'll talk you through it.
