Usually, the second day after a strong front, after the North wind lays down and changes to a light breeze out of the east, is brutally tough on Fork. Today was the exception. This cold front has put fish right where I want them and we had a good day. Fellow TFFer DougR and I had right around 20 from 4lbs up in a 5 hour day. The fish were biting deep diving crankbaits, heavy shaky heads, and of course... Toadwrangler jigs  This bite will keep getting better and will hold up through the winter. On a side note we are trying a new jig rod from Reel Time Rods that is very light and super sensitive. I'm really impressed with it so far. All my fish pictures were on that rod. These are the better ones from today. Lets go fishin

Headed to Fork Thursday going to stay a couple of days, hopefully get on some quality fish. I've been reading all these reports lately. I was hoping this front didn't throw anything off, but looks like the fish are still on the chew.

All I use is HoneyBadger Jigs when I fish with Doug.

We had a great afternoon , we only fished about 5 hours. And as usual Andrew put us on some good fish. He told me yesterday that he'd been on a great deep bite , but it didn't much urging to get him to see if we could catch them on a jig today and as usual , Andrew found em!!
I haven't been on Fork much since March , so I was excitted to see if this front turned the jig bite on and it did. It was a fun afternoon. Thanks AG for letting me catch a few 4 pounders , lol.
I'm lucky to have become good friends with Andrew and I can say if you haven't fished with him yet , you're missing a great guy to fish with as well as a young man that is a wealth of knowledge.
Who said you can't catch em on post frontal blue bird days..
