Bo, I really like your jig. The head and hook guard allow the jig to come out of rock and wood really well. I did a review about a month ago after using the freebie that you sent out. The next weekend, I broke off on a good fish and have missed having the Nujig. (I was using a baby brush hog as a trailer. I was using 17lb floro and fought the fish for about 30 seconds before my line broke.) My FIL asked what I wanted for X-Mas and I sent him a link with my order and I will have some under the tree in about 2 weeks. You make a fine product and I can't wait to stick some more with them.

I need to throw it alittle more, got it tied on. It's just that the 10" worm bite has been so good that I can't lay it down.

I posted a review previously, but to restate, I like the action of the jig, and am impressed with the weedless capabilities. I caught a nice 4 lber flipping weeds with it. I would like a model with a beefier hook and a trailer keeper of some sort.

Hey; Nice design, after making jigs since 1968 here are my thoughts: * Needs a keeper for plastic trailers (a must) * Hooks, Strong Proven hook (Owners are $.65 each but the best)NO GOLD HOOKS * Angle of the hook and positioning of the hook eye to the hook shaft, parallel or perpendicular. * Weed guards must be pliable to ensure instant hook set or curve at the top higher than the hook point and be pliable enough for the hook set to penetrate the fishs jaw. * Use Stainless steel wire to hand tie the skirts (lasts 35 times longer) Jig fishermen will pay for quality jigs and getting hung up is not a huge priority but percentage of hook-sets to bite ratio needs to be 100% (hahaha). Serious jig fishermen resist any weed guard design that looks like it might interfere with a hook-set. Hook angle and hook eye position is only critical to a very small percentage of us die-hard jig enthusiast but you should know the differences as it can affect the Fish catching performance of the jig. Gold hooks are for crappie jigs, (my humble opinion). I bought some great hand tied jigs from a guy but they did not have a keeper for a trailers, so I had to glue trailers to the jig each time and re-glue while fishing.. pain in the rearI use a trailer of some sort 100% of the time so for me a keeper is a deal maker/breaker. Screw type keepers are more time consuming during manufacturing but are superb at getting the job done! Good luck !

to answer mike hamm: the pro series that will be coming shortly has an owner hook, and a keeper barb for plastic. it will also feature a positive skirt collar. as for the guide arm(dual weedguard) stiffness, stiffneess does hurt with the traditional centerbased weedguard jigs. we all know that, it has been in print for eons to cut your weedguard down when not fishing in much brush. the NuJig is built with better physics, and the stiffness of the dual guide arms will aid in hook setting and accuracy. hope this answers some of your questions.

I finally got a chance to try mine out yesterday. Although I didn't catch any fish, here are a few things that I noticed. Some have already been stated:
1. Different hook. The stock one was planty sharp but seemed like it would be more prone to bending and breakage. 2. I found that the angle of the hook eye actually worked well. I don't think there would be any hookup issues nor would it negatively affect the action. 3. Better quality skirt ring. 4. MORE skirt material. After looking at several of my top producing jigs I noticed that they all have a pretty hefty amount of skirt. Not longer just more full. 5. The color was great. My PB&J matched well with almost every trailer I put on. 6. Trailer keeper. I rigged mine like a TX rig so it wasn't an issue but not all trailers will fit this way. 7. I got hung up a lot in light timber and brush. I'm not sure if I was feeling cover differently or what but it happened a lot more frequently than with my usual brand of jig.
All in all I think it is a good product and I would buy more if there is continued product improvement.

threw it for a little bit sun. morning. didn't get much time at all but i threw it in some rip rap type rocks and it came trough well. also threw it in some small brush type bushes and around a beaner dam that has wood scattered all over the bottom all around it and never hung it once. unfortunately fish didn't cooperate and momma called needin some help not to long into this adventure so i never got one on it but will throw it again soon. i will second that i like a little fuller skirt. thanks for letting me try out your product, can't wait to post a pic with a nujig hangin out of a bucket if you know what i mean.
