I've been using this "online" blackened fish recipe lately and the wife actually told me to keep more fish more often.
1 tablespoon paprika
1 teaspoon dry mustard
1 teaspoon ground cumin
1 teaspoon black pepper
1 teaspoon white pepper
1 teaspoon dried thyme
1 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon cayenne pepper
1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
6 crappie fillets

 equals one messy sink, counter top and floor and a very bad smelling kitchen. I built a cleaning table OUTSIDE. I know what the concrete and table look like when I get thru cleaning 25+ fish. Ain't anything I'd want in the house.

My girl is from Alaska and even she would have a fit if I dropped an uncleaned fish in the sink,that work has got to be done on the cuttin board "Outside" Then I'll drop them slivers of happiness on her to vac-pack. She does get tired of vac-packing though,she'll tell me everytime "That's enough Fish in the freezer" even if there really ain't.
