 I was out scouting for duck spots when I took this picture. My truck is at the top of the boat ramp at Rocky Creek Park. I have paddled up the creek and caught bluegill in water so clear you see this fish in 10 feet of water. Now the water is a twenty minute walk from the ramp, roughly 300 meters. I am from the west and that is how we measure distance - e.g. "How far is it from Las Cruces to Santa Fe?" reply "Oh about five hours." Just thought I would share....
