Went a week ago Sunday. Bite very slow and inconsistent but manage some at the dam and points early morning on trig watermelon worms and late afternoon with shad swim baits. Lake was low so bite on grass line was hard to find. Couldn't find any fish in back of coves.
Bite was very light, caught one over five pounds but he nibbled on it like a perch.

We went Saturday from 7:30 to 2:00. Only caught 7--all in 7-10 ft. Most came on shad color deep cranks with one on a Rattlesnake worm. Thought I had the lake record for about 10 seconds--foul hooked a flathead catfish in the back in about 10 feet of water--felt good for a minute, but when he didn't try to come up I knew it wasn't what I hoped it was. Had 27 in the boat this past friday. All came on shakeyhead plastics. Big fish was around 6 lbs. Most of the fish came from between 10 and 18 FOW.

Had a club tournament down there this past weekend. Fishing was kinda slow for fayette for this time of the year.
