Sight fishing is a lotta fun for sure but if you wanna go and really catch em I would go from mid-May thru June. The numbers will be awesome and the chance is always there to catch a DD. Everyone wants to go in March or April but the lake is crowded and everyone is pounding the bank.

PM me for my recommendations on a guide. I know em all.

NOTE: OF INTEREST
IF YOU WANT THE BEST ODDS FOR A LUNKER (13+)
THEN IT HAS TO BE MONTH OF MARCH
STATISTICS BEAR THIS OUT!
LUNKER RECORDS STATE THERE ARE 2 TIMES AS MANY LUNKERS CAUGHT IN MARCH AS OPPOSED TO FEB OR APRIL IN TEXAS OR
IN MARCH THERE ARE AS MANY LUNKERS CAUGHT AS FEB AND APRIL COMBINED-

Henry David Thoreau said that "Some men fish all their lives without knowing it is really not the fish they are after."
I think that I am approaching this stage, that is to have
the opportunity and joy to go fishing and enjoy God's magnificent creation.

What ever day there is a tournament. I seem to catch 23 3/4" fish only in tournaments. Nice big fat girls. I love the spawn on Fork but it can get crowded.
