I hit wrc yesterday morning from 10-11:30. I caught three keepers and 12 or so total crappie, and 5 yellows. All were caught on white or monkey milk bobby garlands. It surprises me that Carey is fishing today with the air pressure at 30.28.

A fish a day keeps the doctor away.

I like days with high pressure. Alot of people stay home and I still get into them with less crowds.

Killed them this morning. Then the air pressure dropped rapidly and shut them down. Caught about 20-30. Jig and bobber 3-4 ft deep.

It's good when it's rising or falling slowly within a certain range. Slowly as in like .01 an hour. If the pressure is holding or changing slowly within the 30.10 range to the 29.5ish range you're good to go. In my experience

Uploaded this photo of 1.5" tube jigs and 1/16th ounce jighead for Bin. Bin asked to see a picture of the tubes since he's new to fishing. He has been watching and replying to the threads related to bank fishing and crappie fishing around the creeks.

If it's snowing and blowing tomorrow morning, I may HAVE to head to a popular, famous urban creek! Two best days i ever had crappie fishing, one of them in a sleet storm with the temps at 26 degrees farenheit, and the other in a snowstorm, in a bar ditch, where i built a fire to keep warm and couldn't stand still next to the fire long enough to get warm, the crappie were biting so fast! Both days, i got em on jig/bobber, in less than two hours. Limited on both trips with some saddle blanket slabs. Keeping them fresh was no problem. they froze on the ground!!!!

If the snow stays away, Tuesday and or Wednesday should be MEGA ON!!!!!

I love winter fishing!!!!!

Bring on the elements!!!!!!

Rudy

Yup, no need for ice or laying the fish in the water. We just put them on a stringer and keep them in the leaves behind us. Rudy, call me if your going. I have a better spot. No one in sight all day. Ill report later with pics.
