I had one of the best days ever last Saturday! Just didn't have enough keepers. Me and my partner probably had 25 fish in the 1st hour! We were hooking up on almost every single cast. 4-5 times we were both taking fish off at the same time. Out of all those fish we had one keeper in that first hour. The rest were 16-17 inches.

We had the same problem. Lot of small fish and no keeper.

The 18 inch min.is a challenge,but that's what makes it fun cause that lake has lots of fish.

Steve are you going to try to have a tournament Saturday December 15th?

Yes it will be our last one on the 15th.

I never fished Welsh before last month. Have made 4 trips since and had have my best luck ever on any lake. Catching lots of small ones, but one trip no overs, and the other 3 maybe 1 or 2 each trip. Good to know someone knows how to catch 'em out there! Sur eis a fun pretty lake!
