You guys down in Texas are basically on the cutting edge of using big flutter spoons . Do you guys think its the reaction and having a big profile and flash down there that is making them bite or the vibration from the spoon itself . I am out in Cali and we are kinda behind the eightball learning as we go and getting info from you guys that have put in the time and work . I am asking cause I am designing a bait (not a Spoon) but more of a vertical type jig that you can attach mostly swimbait type bodies to and vertically stroke it. Mark

Probably a little bit of all of the above, depending on water color and time of year.

I think it's just that slow wobble on the drop, they react to it. All the various shades of silver just sell the baits to the fisherman, fish dont seem to care.

I think they react to the slow fall and the flash of the flutter spoon. The size of the flutter spoons (i think) attracts larger fish also. Smaller jigging spoons and tail spinners also work well on Fork so your "jig" should work well also. I don't see why it wouldn't
Bring on your invention. Just fish it and see how it works. Like others have said, contact us about getting some and we will test them out and post the results. We can try them out on Fork. Send me a P/M and we can work out the details.
