I tried BO2 and Halo 4 and once again they are dissappointing...these FPS games have gone down hill since their origins...after Call of Duty 4 (when it finally became modern era and not ww2) they tried too hard to tweak it and also having different developers has really ruined the replay value...halo 4 is better than Halo Reach but not by much...they are trying to hard to balance the game and remove skill so they can reach a larger audience anf make even more money. PC is where its at now, not as many children playing M rated games bc they cant handle the functionality of a keyboard/mouse combo

I completely disagree with ya crago. Ive been a halo fanboy since the original launched, and i feel that the multiplayer system in halo 4 is the best yet. Because of the way its set up, the more you play, the better you get. I have yet to play black ops 2, but ive never been a big fan of COD.

Crago, Lil Tumater is no ordinary child. As a baby his favorite thing to do after breast feeding was to play his favorite game unreal tournament on the PC.Look at what violent gaming has done for his creativity. This is a treasured keepsake from kndergaden arts class.

There was a time when I was very into the PC FPS scene. I was a member of a competitive COD 1 and 2 clan and specialized in our 2v2 rifles-only team. Around the time of COD 4, I completely lost the ability to twitch game and that was the time when my hands started becoming very shaky, as anyone who has fished with me has undoubtedly noticed. Now I just get frustrated trying to play those types of games, although I still do a little Battlefield 3 from time to time.

These days I stick to single player FPS's, RTS and RPG's for the most part.

Aaron, I could solo 50 in halo 2 and 3 easy but in Reach and Halo 4, with all the over compensation to "level" the playing field, you simply cant bc of over the top weapons...im no ordinary gamer, ive been top 100 NA on a lot of popular titles, but bc of the lack of upkeep ive lost all interest in console gaming.

Basically, console is geared toward sales and mass production which is fine but as far as competetive leaguing its all PC. Ive done game battles mlg and all that fun stuff but its a cash cow now instead of promting skill and achievement.

i guess i can see what you are saying. ive never been super competitive in halo. But its always been one of my favorite games. was however quite competitive in CounterStrike Source, but i only played Gungame. But i was a bit of a beast in that style. played a few tournament ladders, but ended up having to drop it before i had a chance to really advance in the competition scene due to time restraints not letting me practice enough. But if you still have halo4, and wanna play some time, my handle is caribou89
