I caught a 4 pounder a couple years ago, thought I had a 7+ pound fish on till I got it close to the boat.

Jack unlinke you I fish many different lakes around Texas. From Rayburn to Ivie

The biggest spot I can remember catching was one that was about 3 lbs that came out of PK growing up

I've even caight a few 14-16" keepers on eagle mountain

Before Richland Chambers took in Lake Corsicana, we used to catch a lot of those. Locals around here called them Kentucky Bass.

you can catch 100 a day on rayburn. needs to be open limits on those suckers

at one time rayburn had the state record at 5.5 lbs. Ive seen a pic of one about 6 lbs from the early 90's. the little ones have taken over lol

A buddy and I sacked em up a few years ago on falcon .. They were all 2.5- 3 lbs

Nothing wrong with them, i just dont think its good for a lake to have a huge population of them co existing with largemouths. seems like rayburn they are getting more numerous. If i remember correctly, they took over Alan Henry,

I agree, so frustrating to pull up on a deep spot lately & get bit every cast by 9" bait swipers. I have seen some spots on rayburn in the past that had a mix of spotted bass and big female largemouth but it has been a long time.
