I am a bass fisherman,but I have caught a 9 pound channel as a pb by accident.Not bad when your not trying.

The state record bass was caught crappie fishing. Thousands of bass boats and millions of dollars spent and the record is caught by a crappie fisherman. "not bad when your not trying". I still wonder if that record was actually caught on a crappie that was hooked.

60# blue on the Mississippi river out of Memphis TN. dont remember what kind of rod, but it was a huge ambassador reel. caught on skipjack

10lb Yellow Cat. Shakespear Rod & Reel Combo 19.99 from wally world. 10lb. pre spooled line. No pic lol. Have caught thousand or so just not ever a bigun YET.

47 lb flathead, trotline, Eagle Mountain. 35 lb blue, shad head, zebco 808, #5 circle hook, Eagle Mountain
Started out with nothing and still have most of it left.

31 pound blue on Lewisville shadhead drifting. Wife's is 31 pounds also Twok shadhead drifting. Also 30 pound flathead Lewisville whole shad. Hoping to break it at Twok soon!!!

A 27 pound blue when I was 15 years old. Caught him from the bank at Lake Tawakoni right off the fishing cleaning table at White Deer landing. I had a Zebco 33 and used Crappie guts for bait. The year was 1976 and it is still my largest fish to date.
