On my Birthday one summer on Fork. 11 casts, 11 over 5 lbs. 1st fish was 7.5 or so, the rest were 5 lb cookie cutters. 12th cast got broke off. Who would have thought you would have to retie! All on c-rig as soon as it hit bottom. Happy birthday to me!

14 in a row after I started counting all on the same worm on Lake Cisco during a club tournament not a keeper in the bunch. 15th jumped off moved on after losing fish figured I was just wasting my time there.

C'mon Ken you know us. Let us decide. Give us that number!

Six of us caught over 700 bass in ten hours.....

2010 Thanksgiving week.
I Caught a Bass every cast on a crank bait for 3 1/2 to 4 hours, Two at time on several cast.
They were still biting when I left,
I Just could not handel any more!

Never counted, but I know what day would have to have the highest chances of being up there.

1989 Giant cypress tree in the intersection of two small creeks with a deep hole behind the cypress from current.

Throwing a buzzbait, spotted bass over and over and over again for hours on that one spot, nothing over 12" however.

I would have to say that i easily caught 100 fish that day, def over 20 in a row more than once.

1990 Gibbons creek, maybe 91?? early spring,late afternoon Buzzbait in a stump field way in the back of the creek before the cow pasture bridge.

Back to back to back casts for hours, prolly 4-5 bass, then a cast without one, then 4-5 in a row again etc. All of these ranged from 4-7lbs. favorite trip in my life.

me and my dad had fished all day without a bite, working a soft plastic waterdog imitation , jigs and lizards with nothing, I heard a fish hit on top and it seemed to cold for topwater but i was board so i threw the buzzbait over there, and it was on after that..


Fayette county lake, 87 88?? fish on almost everycast on a slug-o , main lake hump with grass ranging from 3- 7lbs until our arms hurt

We caught 45 bass in one 2 hour period. We didn't up up every single cast everytime but every other one the rest of the time. Caught doubles 7 times also.

I caught a catfish one time.

hahaha, i've had the catfish curse before.

Completely off topic but a really funny moment in my life has to do with a catfish.

I was 12 or 13 and fishing a local team tournament with my dad.

I hooked into a fish on a white spinnerbait, and I was super excited, it was pulling hard and I told my dad with proud emphasis before i even saw the fish " this is gonna be big bass in the tourney for sure!"

My dad looks at me struggling with this fish and the rod bent straight over and says
"that's not a bass" , of course I was confident it was, since you know i was throwing a spinnerbait.

I finally get it up and see its a giant opp, I was so let down I didn't know what to say.

I'll never forget that day, or any of the other giant opps that have cursed me fishing for bass over the years since then. Of course now i can tell when it's not a bass on the line, got plenty of experience with random trash fish hitting bass lures over the years!!

Eight in a row after I started counting early in the morning before the sun came up lucky me came on a school on a point busting shad everywhere. I thought they were stripers considering the conditions but were largemouth . I had a trap tied on . They gorged themself fore atleast ten min. They were so many dead shad coming up they created an oil slick . Awesome considering it was canyon lake.
