Great looking rig. Time to take her out and get some fish slime on her.

great yaks especially as bait runners. looks like youve taken care of that stability problem nicely Just FYI: might consider taking them out at least till you get in & out of the surf. also 303 uv protectant will help put some new life into it and keep it from getting chapped. hope this helps ya. wed like to see some fish pics when your better.

Thanks everyone. I remove the stabilizers untill I am ready to use them and pin them in while in the water. Yak-Gear informed me on that to make sure they are put at the right depth. In the pic I was getting it all ready to take it down to the water to yak out some shark bait. Thanks for the tip on the UV. I will definitely pick some up. The guy I got it from kept it out under his deck a lot and put some sun wear on it. Yak-Gear is getting folding cast bars in this winter and they are going to be under $100.00 . I recently purchased a GoPro Hero2 HD camera and hope to get some catches caught on video so I can post them. Going to spend a lot of time in the bays this spring chasing fish around. I am hoping to pick up another sit-on-top kayak by this spring for my wife so she can fish with me. She wants a shorter kayak that she can lift on her own and be able to go out and get some exercise with when she wants. Any suggestions on a good used one you can usually find on craigslist that she would like please? What size length would you suggest for her please. She loves to fish too and is going to get stabilizers installed and a casting bar. Thanks everyone for your help and tips on restoration. Have a great and safe weekend!
Tight lines,
Ricky V.

Be sure and check TKF (TexasKayakFisherman) for used kayaks as well.
