I'll be taking the kayak out, for the first time tomorrow, to Texoma, for the first time as well. South winds are forecasted, so launching at Highport or Grandpappy Point seems like a feasible plan. Any thoughts? Thanks guys.

Enjoy it my friend. I love kayak fishing. Nothing like a five pound fish pulling your yak around. I can only imagine what I mean spirited striper would do. Let us know about your trip.

Sorry for the delayed response guys. I didn't catch anything. One bump deadsticking and drifting. I was in a hobie pro angler. No paddling for me. I'm headed to Hubbard tomorrow. It's a little closer. Anyone want to join?

I was out there by 8 AM. Windy. I went to look at Tawakoni but it was even windier and starting to sprinkle. Never took the yak off of the truck.
