I thought Northern New Mexico ski basins had record snow fall last winter. Where did all that snow melt go? We're the N.M lakes dry?

You can spit over the Rio Grande at El Paso, all water from snow melt is used for all of the farms in the valley in southern New Mexico. Elaphant Butte is almost dry. Most of the water for Amistad comes from the Rio Concho and another river in Mexico. The dam on the Rio Concho was in danger when Amistad rose 17' over pool a few years ago in about 10 days or so. They said Mexico had every gate open, that's the last time Falcon was full.

I received no measurable rain from last nights storm. Most all the storm seemed to be closer to Mission. Too far south for Falcon.
Keep hoping for us though!
