Flipping jig. Check out toad wrsngler jigs in my SIG. They have trokar hooks and are very durable +1. The head design hooks fish in the top of the head too.

Check out custombassjigs.com. He has a cone shaped head that so far is really good for me. He also has a ton of colors or you can custom design one. Your welcome

What's the best jig for fishing timber in 10 to 15ft of water? Hands down, the Talon BillyMac Jig. Designed by Elite Angler Billy McCaghren, a proven favorite on the Elite trail. Try one and you won't be disappointed - nearly 100% of people who do come back to buy more. http://talonlures.com/billymccaghrenbillymacjig.aspx TFF members enter BillyMac10 in the coupon code box at checkout (on our website) for 10% off the BillyMac Jig now through Friday, and join the rest of anglers who have become hooked.

Start making your own! if you love to fish a jig there is nothing like sticking a pig on a home made jig! You can choose your favorite hook, head, color, skirt combo, rattles,.... It is as addictive as fishing itself. And it is not that expensive to start doing either considering the cost of most gear these days.
Glad to have taken..."the trash in the back!"

Talon lures flipping jig. Black/ red or black/blue for the cooler water +1! Caught some nice fish on Talon jigs! They're about all I buy now.

Have you looked at the Perfect Strike Alpha Jig? I have been using it around timber, docks and rock out to about 20' with good success and very little hang ups. Seems the double weedguard actually does a good job of keeping the hook out of trouble and in the roof of the fishes mouth. I know the double weed guard is something the spooks most people but its worth a try
