Guess I will throw in my two cents worth....I love to water ski and all water sports(like wakeboarding). Fishing is still my first love though. One day we were out at the lake and when I jumped the wake I landed flat on my face at 25mph. I couldn't see out of my left eye for 10 mins. I thought I was gonna go blind. Finally, a little blurred, my vision came back. My friends wanted to call me splat (that was the sound I made as I was hitting the water) but I wouldn't have it so they just called me crash.
Man some of you guys have some great stories!!

I've been chatting online in ICQ chat rooms for nine years and I had gone by Clyde812 up until two years ago. That's when I married one of the friends I met online in a chat room., Mrs Clyde in here too. I then changed my nick to what it is now. David C.
4 out of 5 voices in my head say call in sick and go fishing !

I fished a certain trout derby for 18 years without catching one of the "tagged" fish released for the tourney. This does NOT mean I didn't do well in the tourney....heck, I've WON it a few times in the 18 years. During this spell, I've caught several VERY nice rainbows that have aided in the tourney. BUT, not until this past March's tourney did I FINALLY land a "tag". It was a beauty of a rainbow! This ended the famous streak many old timers who've fished the tourney have come to know and love. It was kinda sad really......the streak had been a running joke for at least 15 of the 18 years. I joined the TFF soon thereafter....So, I am "StreakBreaker"

"Freddie" - nickname for Frederick, my middle name, and "M", the first initial of my last name. My given first and last names are very common, it's usually tough to make an alias from them that hasn't already been taken. Also, my friends in school started calling me Fred and Freddie after they found out my middle name, guess it was just one of those fad things back then... Still go by Fred and Freddie back where I grew up, too, and I'm cool with it.

I grew up in Garland, and like so many other youths growing up in the mundane world of suburbia I found solace and recreation on Duck Creek which snakes through the entire town. Did lot's of fishing - nothing big but still fun, Occasional swimming (questionable water quality of course) and the grand ol' sport of rock fights. The creek also offered a place to learn important adult skills such as smoking....etc. Man we had a lot of fun there.

Some of my fishing buds tease me about my Tracker. Call it the Tin can and the ever famous Beer Can. So, I chose the Tin Can version.

I have considered changing it on the TFF, 'cause it really doesn't describe my personality, and I think it gives people a wrong first impression of me when I post. What do you think? Should I change it? My email is ornery@aircanopy.net *singing*

Not very carefully, really.....it's just that I wanted to catch a big bass. My wife of 12 years might tell you a different story.
