anyone on here have a carolina skiff? i have not personly seen one on our aera lakes but am think of getting one but would like to talk to someone that has one.

Very popular on the coast, zillions of them running around. Basically a fiberglass john boat. Floats pretty shallow, really rugged hulls. That's the plus

Beat your liver loose in a chop, and will really run wet. That's the minus.

My next door nieghbor has one and he said its a great boat, but need Advil cause it's a rough ride. Btw think that's why his never moves anymore!

I run a 24' skiff. It's an OK ride. Little rough, little wet. Super stable fishing platform.

my dad has one a 21 foot that we put twin 50s on and cut tunnels into it it is a great boat had it about 15 years now the boat is still as solid as it was the day we got it they are a bit of a rough ride but thats part of the reason we cut the tunnels in it it will run shallower than a shallow sport all day long
