I would like to see them hold one on a lake they don't ever go to. Amistad comes to mind first. They don't have a circuit down there and it is a great lake.

Amistad would be awesome. To me Media seems to be reactive instead of proactive. They wait and see what every other trail is doing before they make a decision. I understand there are water level issues but they also need to understand that some of us have to plan our days off for a tourny months in advance.

They had a championship on Pines last yr and they didn't have a circuit on it.

BLT and Media both fished LOP pretty regularly this year along with some others. Amistad is a big lake that can accomidate alot of boats.unlike Pines this year with the water down and only a few good spots to choose from.

Interested to see where the 2013 championships are going myself. I thought rc was a good pick this last year, good lake and not alot of stuff going there anymore. LBJ would make a good championship lake. I noticed he added a div down that way as well.

I think they have to put the championships within reasonable distance for not only tx anglers but the other states as well.

I guess it depends on where you live whether it is a reasonable distance. That's why they have regional circuts and a seperate championship that is 2 days. The regions are close but the championships should be on lakes that are large enough and have not been fished by any region throughout the year.

They also had a championship on Hubbard Creek,which is great for me, but it would still be a more equal and fair championship to have it on a lake that they don't go to any during the regualr season. A lake like Amistad would eliminate guys paying for the eyar and not realyy fishing to fish a championship on their local lake. Go to somewhere far enough away from all of the circuts to eliminate locals from putting out brush piles for a month or two, or being able to fish the lake almost every day.

Wrong! Lake amistad would have 20 plus locals paying a small entry for 6 tournaments and coming in and cleaning house on game day. Take a look at the results from ttt this past year.
