COMING SOON! .. THE STICKLE HOOK " the stay level sickle hook". sits level in the water with all knots.! Provides better hook sets and more natural jigging motion. No more adjusting the knot, gluing , or tying loop knots that cause the hook point to tangle in the loop, or worse knick the line.. The jighook that will make all others obsolete !

Good rods but a 9' rod is too long for indoor barge fishing. I would get a 5.5' or 6'. med lite, avoid ultra lite.

As ernest said most barges also have a length requirement.

I fished with Wally years ago and we used those long rods fishing the cattails and reeds on north end of Ray Hubbard. If you do more reed fishing yes if you barge fish then no.

I've had my eye on them also, for springtime bank fishing. I currently use an older 7 ft version from BPS for barge fishing. It was made with the IM8 blank, very light and sensative. If a crappie would fart you could feel it!
