Are falcon bucco rods with micro guides any good? Just saying I here a lot of talk about possible problems on multiple different brands using these guides.

I have 2 and I'm thinking about a third. I think they're great. I have new Revo SX on them and combined cast further than any combination I own.

I've been building rods with micro guides for 5 or 6 years. While they occasionally lose inserts, in general I have much fewer problems with micros than standard size guides.

I have one microguide rod and like it so far. Only complaint is that my rodsocks don't stay on it as well.

Rod Glove makes some for microguides that fit great.

been using the Dobyns savvy 703 with Micros for about a year now and havent had any issues with the guides..It seems to be smoother on the casts as it reduces line slap and shoots the line off the rod.. i will be getting more micros in the future... The one thing I have heard is guides freezing up on them faster..

I have a boat full of micro guide rods and one buckoo and also use the Rodsock brand of covers with no issues. I have to say for the money the buckoo definitely holds it own.

I use a Carbonlite micro (my 1st) and have found some plus and minuses. plus= lighter weight (minimal), longer casts, and easier to remove from storage locker. Minuses are I found them to bend easy, can't get a braid to mono knot through them very well, they do freeze up, and my old eyes have a tough time threading the rod especially on the water.

Hermes. I had the same problem with using a leader with the uni to uni on micro guides. I have since started using an improved albright which is a little smaller and offers a more protection for your braid to flouro/mono leader. You can still feel it come through the guides but it will work much better IMHO.
