Going to try it out on Saturday. Never fished it before. Looking for any advice, lures, structure, water color, best place to launch etc.

You can launch under the 360 bridge. There was a ton of grass if you go upriver. Have not been in awhile, but austinbassfishing.com has a ton of info. I know most fish the grass and docks. Senkos have been good.

Have a fluke tied on as well with a spinner bait too, white with a touch of chartruese.

well it was a beautiful day on the water. we caught 13 fish total with only 2 keepers. all caught on small tx rigged worms. grass is insane up the river didn't really know how to fish it efficiently so we stayed closer to the bridge all day
