Thanks for the support. It does look like we will be able to re-coup some of the dollars but this was a 1985 boat/motor and I will most likely only get a small percentage back since its re-sell value would not have been extremely high. I'll let you know how it pans out. I'm thinking this process will takes months not weeks.

Srohde,
Insurance should not take long at all to get you a check,provided they do not get too hung up on the cause. Use to work an Insurance Claims desk out of college. Its a no brainer. You may be more hung up on the appraisel for it, but they should do you right.
