Waiting on BLACK BASS FRIDAY!!! A family tradition that we have been keeping for 5 years. The Lake is a great place to be away from the crowds. Best BBF so far 93 bass. My son Caleb and I must decide on Sam Rayburn or Naconichi. Rain or shine. Looks like it will be good weather in East Texas. Anybody around want to join in. LETS GO! Happy Thanksgiving!

Sounds like a good tradition to have. Sounds MUCH better than spending the day shopping. I wouldn't be shopping if they paid me. But I would pay to be on the lake fishing.

I have been to Rayburn and Naconiche a lot over the past three months. I'd definitely head to Rayburn right now between those two options.

Waco 2 Day is looking like a good turnout. Two days, river and a lake. Should be fun.

The bite at Rayburn has been funny as well. 4 weeks ago 3 of us caught over 200 in 5 hours. Only about 20 keepers. Looks like this years spawn was good for a lot of fish after the drought. Just waiting for the bigger fish to move in the back of creeks. Last weekend we struggled to catch any. Blue Bird skies and slow bite in cold water. Crazy weather has got plenty of people sick and fishmen wondering what to do. Lipless has worked well for us until last weekend. Front coming tonight could set them off again. We need to check out the river bends as well. Heard the spoon has been catching a lot there. Ok. Rayburn it is.
HAPPY THANKSGIVING ALL!

I've been doing this since 2006 as well, we just go to Welsh instead. Tomorrow is going to be a special first for me though, I finally got my dad to go with me...

Nachoniche has been real slow. However Timpson yesterday was on fire. The last time I fished Rayburn we did well also. Wish I didn't have to work.
