Its all a matter of preference(or sponsorship)..like said above. Quality of hook is paramount.

Like said above, Oldhams eyemax jig is a strong sucker!--3/4 oz. I still like the original rattleback jig from lunker lure if I want a rattle- 1/2 oz. I suppose it is more about where and how you use them than which one.

I'm a big fan of the RockCrawler jigs for football heads. They are matched with Xcite trailers. They are bad to the bone!

I use nothing but BS fishing jigs, they have worked a lot better for me than other brands.

Anyone ever fished a tungsten jig ? LFT had one that Pack designed a few years back but hard to find any left these days. Not sure why they never caught on. Also Tru Tungsten had one I really liked the head design of but the hook sucked. I bought all I could find and add my own skirts. I fun fish with them but would not trust them in a tournament. I have recently enguired through a friend about having a 100% tungsten jig poured and it looks very possible so it might happen here soon. We will see.

Well there are a few companies making them. River2sea is one. Keitech is another. I love the tungsten weight when worm fishing just thought it would be great as a jig also. I never hear anyone talking about them though. There not expensive ??
