Is Martin creek power plant lake open? Haven't heard or seen any post about it. It's on our 2013 schedule and was planning a trip but did not want to drive over there and it be closed.

It is open and fishing pretty good for a club tourney. Ramp is a little tough with one person so plan on teaming up for the launching of boats. Stay close to the island on the way out but once you get to the deep water it is all good. Good Luck out there

The state park ranger said the lake is 4ft. low. I was on the lake last sunday afternoon. there were probably 15 boats on the lake.
the fishing was good. they are still pumping water into lake.
