I wish I could get out in fish, yet I'm stuck in New Mexico. I know I'll be back at it Friday.

Anyone else noticing that fish 6lb+ are much wider than years before? Seems like the making of some short stocky sharleunkers.

Way to go Big John. He put one of my clients on a big 'ol fat girl like that a few years ago. He still talks about it every time I see him. Tanner is the man.

GO -------> fish

I have spent the past 50 years spitting in their mouths...increasing the size of Texas fish with every spit!

Congrats to both Welton and John.
Nice work guys- Fork has been hot lately,
most of the fish seem to be on the short side but quite stout!
I forsee a big pre, spawn, and post spawn season(s) on the horizon. That would be terrific, eh!
I bet Weldon is till smiling-- John is a wonderful person as well as a top notch guide- well done men!

Henry David Thoreau said that "Some men fish all their lives without knowing it is really not the fish they are after."
I think that I am approaching this stage, that is to have
the opportunity and joy to go fishing and enjoy God's magnificent creation.
